Raleigh Little Theatre brings the entertainment and creative magic this summer through our free movie series and annual musical festival all taking place in the Stephenson Amphitheater and Raleigh Rose Garden of RLT.

We present five free outdoor movies on Thursdays in July and August at Movies in the Garden! This is a family-friendly event, showing movies that are rated G, PG, and PG-13. Concessions will be available for purchase and food trucks will be at each show. Our first movie will be shown on Thursday, July 11 at 8:30P. Thanks to our Movies in the Garden sponsors Raleigh Brewing Company and Live It Up! Hillsborough Street. Additional support provided by GoRaleigh and NC By Train.

Groove in the Garden, Raleigh’s favorite celebration of homegrown music returns on Saturday, September 21 for its fifth year. This annual festival features a total of eight live performances on two stages, local food and drinks, art vendors, a kids zone and more! Groove in the Garden allows people of all ages an inexpensive way to experience the vast variety of music being created in North Carolina. Festival gates open at 1 pm and non-stop entertainment goes from 2 pm to 8 pm.
