Introducing the Summer 2018 Theatre Camps!
What we offer
One-week and two-week camps focus on the process of creating theatre through fun, imaginative, nurturing creative play and ensemble building. All camps will culminate in an ‘open classroom’ to give parents and friends a taste of the participants’ everyday experience in the program.
Our summer conservatory for ages 14-18, Teens On Stage / Teens Backstage, give the serious theatre student the opportunity for in-depth exploration in theatre performance and production. Learn more about Teens On Stage auditions and applying for Teens Backstage.

Accessibility and Inclusion
RLT Education welcomes students with disabilities in its summer camp programming. Please tell us about any specific accommodations your student needs when you register for camp. RLT staff will follow up to discuss your student’s needs and our capacity for supports. RLT’s facility is a historic property and some camps require frequent use of stairs. Other camps take place in spaces without use of stairs. Please contact Meredyth at 919-821-4579 x245 with any questions or concerns regarding physical access to camp spaces, or to discuss other ways we can ensure a positive, engaging experience for your young person.
Food and drink
Students must provide their own drink, snack and/or lunch (depending on camp hours).
We have partial scholarships for camps taught at the RLT and Wendell locations. These are funded by donations from individuals and organizations, and from Teaching Assistants who receive a tuition waver for classes they assist. To apply for a scholarship, please fill out our RLT youth education scholarship form. For more information about scholarships contact Kathleen Rudolph at 919-821-4579 extension 225 or email@example.com.
Please help a child come to camp
Your contributions to the RLT Education Program Scholarship Fund are joyously accepted! Help a child in financial need experience the world of theatre, by including a contribution with your registration form.
Help keep the arts accessible to all!
