Our Staff

Mercedes Ruiz (she/they) is excited to join Raleigh Little Theatre as the Box Office and Front of House Supervisor. A longtime RLT attendee, Mercedes grew up attending Cinderella each year with their grandfather—a tradition that helped spark a deep love for the performing arts. In their high school years, they made their RLT debut as both a Teacher’s Assistant and actress, with performance credits including A Year with Frog and Toad, Charlotte’s Web, The Tempest, and Into the Woods.

Mercedes holds a degree in Drama and Arts Administration from Elon University. Their professional experience spans patron services, education, development, and finance, with a strong commitment to making theatre accessible and welcoming to diverse audiences.
