Gene Cordon

Gene Cordon is an experienced business professional as well as an accomplished actor. Gene retired from the business world in 2021 after a 45+ year career, most of which with his own company, GC Consulting Services, Inc. His business experiences include consulting, business analysis, process development and improvement, technical writing and training development and delivery project management, enterprise asset management systems, education, and nonprofits. Although he has a successful business background, Gene’s real passion is acting (along with motorcycles), and his professional life has been a means to that end. Before returning to his home state of NC, he “pounded the boards” on Chicago stages. Notable productions in his 26-year Chicago run include Let Me Live at the Goodman Theatre, Rosemary at Prop Theatre, Sin – A Cardinal Deposed at Bailiwick, Rebecca Gilman’s Crime of the Century at Circle Theatre, and many others, including work with Apple Tree, Victory Gardens, Lookingglass, Lifeline, and Light Opera Works as well as Regional theatres in Virginia. In the Raleigh area, Gene has appeared in The Cherry Orchard, the world premiere of A Great Big Wooly Mammoth Thawing from the Ice, and Butterfly Wings, all at Burning Coal Theatre. Gene has also appeared in TV and feature films here and abroad, including the Italian TV mini-series Voices in the Night.
