RLT is excited to welcome back Lormarev Jones as director of RLT’s 2019/20 season closer, Urinetown, The Musical! Lormarev recently directed RLT’s Blood at the Root and received critical acclaim: “Lormarev Jones’s directorial vision shines through all aspects of this show.” (Michele Okoh, Chatham Life & Style)
A note from Patrick Torres: “As we continue our search for our next Executive Director, I will be taking on new leadership responsibilities. In order to be able to focus on those tasks, I have decided to hand Urinetown off to a new director, and I am happy to announce that will be Lormarev Jones. We programmed Urinetown in our season of Now and Then to honor the legacy of Haskell Fitz-Simons, as it is one of his most talked about productions. Lormarev was in his production, so in a way, this fulfills our desire to honor his legacy even more poetically.”
