The 2019-2020 season may have ended abruptly, but we want to celebrate the hard work of our volunteers and actors on the shows and the work that did happen at our annual awards ceremony.

The event will take place online this year due to ongoing social gathering restrictions. The Cantey Awards will broadcast live on both our Facebook page and our YouTube page!

Performance awards have been presented at Raleigh Little Theatre every year since the 1949-50 season. In the 1975-76 season, the name of the award was changed from “Oscar” to “Cantey” in honor of Mrs. Cantey Venable Sutton, the Grand Dame of Raleigh Little Theatre.

This year’s Cantey Awards will be given out based on recommendations from the Cantey Awards committee and will not follow the nominations format presented in previous years. Award winners will be announced during the event on July 29.
