Introducing the Summer 2017 Theatre Camps!
What we offer
One-week and two-week camps focus on the process of creating theatre through fun, imaginative, nurturing creative play and ensemble building. All camps will culminate in an ‘open classroom’ to give parents and friends a taste of the participants’ everyday experience in the program.
Teen conservatory programs give the serious theatre student the opportunity for in-depth exploration in a variety of areas. Conservatory Programs are guided by accomplished program staff and professional guest artists.

Registration for one-week and two-week camps
Registration this year is through our online registration facility. Complete the online registration, either paying full tuition or a non-refundable 20% deposit for each camp.
If you are unable to use the online facility, you may also RLT Summer 2017 Registration Form (PDF) and complete and mail or fax in the registration form to RLT, enclosing a non-refundable $50 deposit for each camp. There is a $10 returned check fee for insufficient funds.
Please complete a separate form for each student being registered.
- For May/June camps: Balance due April 30
- For July/August camps: Balance due June 15
Note: Refunds (not including the non-refundable deposit) will be made if the student officially withdraws at least 30 days before the start of the camp. To withdraw please email Kathleen Rudolph at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registration for Teens On Stage, Teens Backstage
To apply to study at RLT, all performance candidates must audition and all technical candidates must interview.
Do not submit a registration form before program auditions or interview.
Upon a student’s acceptance into the program, we will provide you with information via email on how to register online with a non-refundable deposit for each program.
- Deposit Due: April 30
- Balance Due June 1
Before and after camp care
For an additional fee, certain camps include Early Arrival and/or Late Departure. Early Arrival, which begins at 8 am, is available for camps that begin at 9:00 or 9:30 am. Late Departure, which ends at 5:30 pm, is available for camps that end at 4:00 or 4:30 pm.

- Early Arrival (doors open at 8:00am) Cost: $30
- Late Departure (doors close at 5:15pm) Cost: $30
- Combination (early arrival and late departure, full-day camps only) Cost: $50
Food and drink
Students must provide their own drink, snack and/or lunch (depending on camp hours).
We have partial scholarships for camps taught at the RLT, Knightdale, and Wendell locations. These are funded by donations from individuals and organizations, and from Teaching Assistants who receive a tuition waver for classes they assist. To apply for a scholarship, please fill out our RLT youth education scholarship form. Your contributions to the RLT Education Program Scholarship Fund are joyously accepted! Help a child in financial need experience the world of theatre, by including a contribution with your registration form.
