Auditions: Junie B. Jones is Not a Crook

12/23/2021

Raleigh Little Theatre is seeking performers for its upcoming production of Junie B. Jones is Not a Crook, a comedy by Allison Gregory. This show will be presented in the Cantey V. Sutton Theatre.

For the safety of volunteers, staff, and students, all performers and crew members for the production of Junie B. Jones is Not a Crook must show proof of vaccination in order to participate. Other safety measures include: a mask requirement inside the building, a fully vaccinated staff, and an ongoing commitment to reduced class, crew, and audience sizes. RLT remains committed to prioritizing the health and safety of everyone who is working inside our facility and our community. You will be required to show proof of vaccination at the auditions. Special exemptions can be made for anyone with a medical condition that prevents them from receiving the vaccine.

About the Show

Something terrible happened to Junie B. Jones at school today: someone stole her new furry mittens! So, when Junie B. finds a wonderful pen of many colors, she should be allowed to keep it, because “finders keepers, losers weepers,” right? And Junie B. wonders if her magnificent new pen will help her win the affections of the handsomest new boy in kindergarten! That makes it okay to keep it, right? Junie B. Jones is not a crook… or is she? This hilarious and heartfelt tale follows everyone’s favorite almost-six-year-old as she learns valuable lessons of right and wrong and realizes the power of friendship.
