Audition Information / Announcements
Auditions: Gloria
Raleigh Little Theatre is seeking performers for its upcoming staged reading of Gloria by Branden Jacob-Jenkins. This reading will be part of Raleigh Little Theatre’s Second Stage Series.
About the Second Stage Series
Through this exciting new series, RLT will produce three staged readings of lesser-known published titles. RLT’s Second Stage will be dedicated to exploring narratives and themes that are not often part of our mainstage programming. We hope these readings will offer an opportunity to engage with bold material that pushes boundaries, explores new perspectives, and broadens the horizons of both our artists and audiences. Gloria is a 2015 play about ambitious, young editorial assistants at a Manhattan magazine, who are fiercely competitive and navigate a cutthroat industry, but whose lives are upended by a violent event, forcing them to confront ambition, trauma, and the media’s role in shaping narratives.
