We’re excited to announce a new partnership with the City of Raleigh that brings our youth acting classes out into the community! It’s the same RLT education you know and love, now offered at different times and in different locations. We hope this will be a beneficial offering in addition to our regular on-site classes.

Step into the spotlight and let your imagination shine! “Curtains Up!” is a high-energy theatre class where young performers explore acting, storytelling, and stage confidence through games, role-play, and scene work.

STORIES RE-IMAGINED (Grades 2-5)
In this creative and fun acting class, students will unlock their imaginations by retelling familiar stories in brand-new ways! Through acting exercises, movement, and ensemble work, young performers will explore character, setting, and story structure while learning the tools every actor needs–focus, collaboration, voice, and body awareness.

ACT IT OUT! (Grades 2-5)
Perfect for beginners and welcoming to all experience levels, this lively class invites students to explore the actor’s essential tools: body, voice, and imagination. Through fun, collaborative games and activities, students will develop skills in improvisation, storytelling, and character creation.

STORY DRAMA TOGETHER: CREATIVE IMAGINATION (Age 2-Pre-K + caregiver)
Young children and their caregivers will dive into stories through movement, imaginative play, and expressive exploration. Designed to spark creativity and curiosity, the class encourages students to bring characters and adventures to life using their bodies, voices, and imaginations. Through playful exploration and storytelling little ones build early social-emotional skills while bonding with their grown-ups in a playful, supportive environment.
