Our Staff

Michele Weathers joined RLT in November 2023. Prior to that, she was the Executive Director and Senior Advisor at Carolina Ballet from 2017-2023. Other leadership experience includes positions at PlayMakers Repertory Company (UNC-Chapel Hill), Barrington Stage Company (Pittsfield, MA) and North Carolina Theatre (Raleigh, NC). NY credits include: In the Heights, High Fidelity, Orson’s Shadow and Red Light Winter. In 2019, she was recognized with TBJ’s Women in Business Leadership Award and, in 2024, she was a member of the inaugural group of award winners for Raleigh Magazine’s Impact 50. Professional development includes DEI training with artEquity. Michele is a member of the League of Professional Theatre Women and is a Theatre grant panelist for the NEA. Her daughter, Peyton Rose, is a rising senior at Enloe High School.
