Laura Bess Jernigan
Laura Bess Jernigan has worked up and down the East Coast as both performer and teacher. Bringing over 20 years of teaching experience to the classroom, Laura received her BA in Theatre from Meredith College in 2007 and her MFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2016. Laura has performed at theatres all over North Carolina. Laura is also a playwright, and her play Hero was produced in London in 2014. Laura is a proud member of the Actors Equity Association. Along with RLT, she currently teaches at Wake Technical Community College, High Point University, Seed Arts Share, and is directing RLT’s 2021 production of Elephant and Piggie’s We’re In A Play.
