Jade Young (she/they)
Jade Alexandria Young is an actor, educator, and somatic practitioner with an MFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Florida and a BA in Drama with a minor in American Sign Language from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has experience teaching improvisation at the university level, as well as working with K–8 students in theatre and movement contexts. Jade’s approach to teaching is somatic and play-based, blending embodied awareness, creativity, and ensemble collaboration. She is passionate about helping students build confidence, presence, and expressive freedom through theatre, storytelling, and imaginative play.
