Denise Schumaker (she/her)
Denise Schumaker first worked with RLT in 1994 as a volunteer on costumes for Oliver! Since then, she has designed, built, organized, and supervised costumes, props and sets for local theatre, dance, and opera, plus off-Broadway, tours, film, and television. In addition to RLT, you may have seen her work on stage at North Carolina Theatre, North Carolina Opera, Theatre in the Park, Theatre Raleigh, Peace University, NCSU, Duke University, Barton College, Honest Pint Theatre Company, RedBird Theater Company, Justice Theatre Project, or elsewhere. She was honored with an Emmy® nomination in 2010.
