Deama Al Zou’bi


Deama Alzoubi is a Theatre Educator and Cultural Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in teaching and International Theatre Exchange. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Jordan and a Master’s degree from Brunel University, London. Her work has spanned conducting theatre and drama workshops in Sweden, Turkey, and the UK, and leading Cultural Exchange Programs with UNICEF, UNESCO, USAID and UNFPA across Greece, Turkey, Estonia, France, Germany, the NENA region, and the Middle East. Deama is a member of the International Theatre Institute – World Organization for the Performing Arts (UNESCO) and is also connected to the Drama Therapy network through the Anna Lindh Foundation in New York. She has received numerous International Certificates and Awards, including Safeguarding and Protecting Children (UK) and Building the Capacity of Institutions to Integrate Children at Risk (NENA Region). She joined Raleigh Little Theatre in 2022 as a Teaching Artist and then Summer Camp Coordinator in 2023/2025, where she continues to inspire young people through stories around the world, performances, improvisations and creative collaboration.
