Barbette Hunter
Barbette Hunter is a professional actress who has performed with numerous theatre companies in the Triangle. Since 2004, she has been a teaching artist for RLT and Cary Applause! Youth Theatre. She has also worked as a stage manager for several local theatre companies. At RLT, Barbette has been recognized for her volunteerism. She has earned the Charles V. York, Jr. Distinguished Service Award and two Al D. Wolfheimer Volunteer Awards. She has also being recognized for her work as a performer by earning three Cantey Performance Awards. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech/Communications from NC State and did graduate work in Acting at UNC Greensboro. She is employed as a program coordinator for Raleigh Arts (City of Raleigh).
