Raleigh Little Theatre (RLT) exists to create and teach theatre in a way that serves our community, offers a place for all to live their best creative life, and embraces diverse stories, artists, and students in a meaningful and powerful way.  To support our mission, we are looking for a colleague to join our dynamic and growing team as the Marketing Manager.

What you’ll do…

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the marketing and promotion of all activities at RLT. This position manages external communications, supervises the box office, and markets all RLT programming, including productions, education programs, and other initiatives. In all areas, the Marketing Manager not only drives the generation of operating revenue but ensures that activities are reaching a broad and diverse cross section of our community with marketing and publicity that center RLT’s goals for equity as a core part of ongoing learning and work.

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

• Knowledge, understanding and ability to execute on strategies within electronic and direct mail marketing and advertising, social media content creation and management, 1-3 years experience managing and/or implementing strategies preferred;
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a team/supervising staff;
• Experience creating and maintaining a budget;
• Experience in identifying and maintaining relationships with media partners;
• Experience in CRMs such as TicketMaster, Tessitura, Patron Manager and/or Ludus;
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both oral and written, as well as the ability to effectively interact with individuals of varied ages, backgrounds, and abilities;
• Strong computer skills and ability to use existing technology to achieve desired results;
• Commitment to continuous learning, training, and accountability in RLT’s equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism work.

Hours and location: Flexible hours that fall within RLT’s business hours of Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm – night and weekend hours are required based on programming and scheduling. The position is primarily in person with limited hybrid scheduling available.

Salary / Pay:

This full-time, exempt position includes health, vision, and life insurance benefits, flexible PTO, and an optional Simple IRA plan after 1 year of employment. The hiring range for this position is $47,000-$51,000 per year.
