The 2023 Cantey Awards
Celebrate the completion of RLT’s 2022-23 season! Join us as we reflect on the accomplishments of our hardworking and dedicated volunteers over the past year.
The event will take place inside in RLT’s Cantey V. Sutton Theatre and is free and open to the public.

Join us before the event at 6:30pm for frozen treats, provided by Majestic Ice. Come socialize and get to know your fellow (and future) volunteers!
Performance awards have been presented at Raleigh Little Theatre every year since the 1949-50 season. In the 1975-76 season, the name of the award was changed from “Oscar” to “Cantey” in honor of Mrs. Cantey Venable Sutton, the Grand Dame of Raleigh Little Theatre. In keeping with recent years, we will be celebrating several outstanding performances from the 22-23 season. Volunteer Award winners will also be announced during the event.
