2024 Raleigh Medal of Arts Awards

Based on the National Medal of Arts program and inaugurated by the Raleigh Arts Commission in 1984, the Raleigh Medal of Arts is awarded for transformative, imaginative, and innovative achievement in the practice or support of the local arts.
Raleigh Arts is excited to announce the 2024 Raleigh Medal of Arts awardees selected by the City of Raleigh Arts Commission. Celebrate the City’s highest honor in the arts at the 2024 Raleigh Medal of Arts Awards hosted by two-time Grammy-nominated country artist Rissi Palmer.
The ceremony, which will feature presentations and performances honoring exceptional achievements in the arts, will take place on Tuesday, October 8, at Raleigh Little Theatre. Live entertainment will be provided at the pre-show reception at 6 p.m., and the awards program will start at 7 p.m.
