Create a Play Camp

Ages 6-8

Using source material from books and their own imaginations, students create, explore and perform an original play based on specific children’s literature. Please bring a healthy snack and a water bottle. There will be a presentation for family and friends on Friday at 12 noon. No previous experience necessary. Raleigh Little Theatre instructs. Limited to 14 participants.

Multi-Arts Camp

Ages 8-12

Designed as an engaging sampler, students will be placed into small groups according to age and attend daily workshops in art, drama, dance and singing. Please bring lunch, snack and a water bottle. There will be a Presentation for family and friends on Friday at 2:15pm. No previous experience necessary. Claudia Finelle, Annette Stowe and Raleigh Little Theatre instruct. Limited to 40 participants.

Sing It Out Camp

Ages 9-13

“Singing and Acting and Dancing, oh my!” Students will learn the skills needed to bring the mini-musical At the Bandstand to life on the stage. Please bring lunch and a water bottle. There will be a Presentation for family and friends on Friday at 12:45pm. No previous experience necessary. Annette Stowe and Raleigh Little Theatre instruct. Limited to 14 participants.

Scriptworks Camp

Ages 9-12

Students develop essential acting skills including characterization, vocal projection, blocking, working collaboratively and memorizing lines while working on scenes from The Wizard of Oz! Please bring a healthy snack, lunch and a water bottle. There will be a Presentation for family and friends on Friday at 3pm. No previous experience necessary. Raleigh Little Theatre instructs. Limited to 16 participants.

Musical Theatre Revue

Ages 11-14

Students participate in a musical theatre experience in which they develop musical theatre skills learning music, choreography and devising original scenes to tell a story with their songs. There will be a Presentation for family and friends on Friday at 3pm. No previous experience necessary. Raleigh Little Theatre instructs. Limited to 16 participants.

Original Scriptworks Camp

Ages 11-14

Students will develop skills in performance, storytelling, improvisation and character development as they collaborate to create and perform original short plays based on books by Chris Van Allsburg. Please bring a healthy snack, lunch and a water bottle. There will be a Presentation for family and friends on Friday at 3pm. No previous experience necessary. Raleigh Little Theatre instructs. Limited to 16 participants.
