Thanks to all who participated in “Divas!” on Saturday, May 5. RLT’s annual event was highlighted by exceptional performances and we were blown away by the generosity of the sponsors and patrons. In all, we raised $71,000, which is a new record for a Raleigh Little Theatre fundraiser.

However, we need to make an apology. Due to a miscommunication between the staff and the accountants, the in-kind totals raised for the silent auction by two of our Diva contestants were not counted. That means that we incorrectly announced the top three fundraisers. Here are the revised winners and totals:

Winner – Emily Spain – $11,793
First Runner-up – Chris Inhulsen – $9,526
Second Runner-up – Nicole Bright (previously announced as 1st Runner-up) – $9,213
Third Runner-up – Mary Bailey (previously announced as 2nd Runner-up) – $7,265

Our sincerest apologies to Chris Inhulsen, and his parents Lori Towner and Jay Inhulsen, who worked so hard on this event.

The winner of the Harry Potter raffle was Rebecca Johnston.
