In order to be ready for the first day of rehearsal on October 2, please email Michele Weathers, Interim Executive Producer, at Michele@nullRaleighLittleTheatre.org by Wednesday, September 20, at 5pm to confirm or decline your participation. What does it mean to understudy a role in this production?

All Ensemble members will understudy a role. It is a condition of accepting the offer to be a part of the production. If there is a “TBA” next to your name, you will be given your understudy assignment during the first week of rehearsal.

As an understudy, you will go on for the actor you are understudying should they be unable to perform. In order to prepare you, there will be one or two understudy rehearsals per week to teach you your blocking, review music and/or choreography. In addition, recordings of the music and rehearsal videos will be available so you can review on your own in between understudy rehearsals. Should you need to go on for the role you are understudying, you will go on stage with script in hand and portray the role as best you can. You will wear the costumes of your normal performance track unless there is something character specific the Director and Costumer feel is necessary for you to wear. If you have any questions, please reach out to Michele Weathers, Interim Executive Producer, at Michele@nullRaleighLittleTheatre.org.

If you were not cast but would like to volunteer to work on crew for the show, please email Cari@nullRaleighLittleTheatre.org to express your interest. Additionally, if you face financial barriers related to transportation to the theatre, check out our Volunteer Access Fund pilot program.

Cinderella runs December 1-17 in the Sutton Theatre. Tickets are available now!
