Auditions: Schoolhouse Rock Live!

02/18/2025

Raleigh Little Theatre is seeking performers for its upcoming production of Schoolhouse Rock Live! This show will be presented in the outdoor Stephenson Amphitheatre.

About the show

A pop culture phenomenon comes to the musical stage in Schoolhouse Rock Live! Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher, is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music. Inspired by the Emmy Award-winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math and more through clever, tuneful songs, experience Schoolhouse Rock Live! in RLT’s outdoor amphitheatre.

Originally Conceived and Directed by Scott Ferguson
Book by Scott Ferguson, Kyle Hall and George Keating
Music and Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, Bob Dorough, David Frishberg, Kathy Mandry, George Newall and Tom Yohe

Please fill out the following paperwork to bring with you to the auditions:

In addition to the paperwork, please email Cari@nullRaleighLittleTheatre.org with a recent picture of yourself by 4pm on Monday, March 3. The purpose of the picture is to help the director remember your amazing performance during auditions, so an informal picture is ideal, as long as it shows who you are and is recent.
