Gary Bossert

Volunteer Representative

A dedicated RLT volunteer for two years, Gary Bossert has volunteered as an usher and worked on sets and backstage crews. He was honored with an Al D. Wolfheimer Volunteer Award for the 2025-26 season. Gary’s love of theatre began in high school and continued through college, where he performed in productions and earned a minor in theatre. He found his way back to the theatre community through volunteering and has been a regular presence at RLT ever since. Professionally, Gary is an HR Manager at Luihn VantEdge Partners, a Taco Bell franchisee with 200 restaurants across North Carolina, Florida, and Arizona. He works in benefits and compensation, supporting a large workforce. Before joining Luihn VantEdge, he spent more than 20 years as an HR and Operations executive at Curi (Medical Mutual) in Raleigh. He holds a BA in Communications and an MBA from American University. Gary lives in Cary with his wife, Jane. They have two children, one a college graduate and the other nearing graduation. He brings the volunteer perspective, along with his professional experience in HR, benefits, and compensation, to the RLT board.
