Joyce Strand
Joyce Strand holds a BA in Music Education and spent around 30 years teaching general music and choir in public schools and she was named Master Music Teacher in New Jersey in 1980. From 1991-2000, she worked as musical director with Judy Dove on various theater productions at Martin Middle School.
Joyce is a section leader and warm-up coach in the award-winning Sweet Adelines Carolina Harmony Chorus. She currently serves as a year-round judge for DPAC Rising Stars and volunteers as an usher at Raleigh Little Theater. Outside of music, she enjoys gardening, golf, and pickleball.
