Due to a change in scheduling, Rose Garden Rentals will not be processed on Monday, June 26th. Rentals personnel will be in the business office on Tuesday, June 27th from 9am-noon.

Recruitment

The Light Crew Chief for each show will advertise the need for volunteers, typically by email using the RLT Volunteers Mailing List. These “crew calls” will usually be sent out 2-3 weeks prior to Opening Weekend. Anyone interested in volunteering to be on the Light Crew should email the Crew Chief with notice of their interest.

Prior training or experience is usually not required, though it may be preferred to meet the needs of certain shows. The Light Crew Chief will provide the necessary training for all crew members during the rehearsal period.

Scheduling

Crew members must commit to operate the lighting equipment for at least 1 rehearsal and at least 3-4 performances.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals begin the Saturday prior to Opening Weekend, and take place each day of that week until the Friday that the show opens. This is known as Tech Week.
