Graymon Ward — Youth Initiative Award

This recipient has been a Teaching Assistant since 1998.Things said of this young man are enthusiastic, energetic, always a great desire to help, jumping out of his seat-dedicated, good rapport with kids, he picks up on people’s needs–adapts to any situation. Witty. Willing to do anything. Rob Jenkins said of him “a capital fellow, he”.

Sarah Ithoop — Youth Initiative Award

This recipient has been a Teaching Assistant for a number of years for RLT at our Cary and Apex sites. Her enthusiasm for teaching is only surpassed by her endless good will and attention to detail. Kathleen Rudolph calls her “a lovely lovely, lovely girl”.

Linnea Emigh — Youth Initiative Award

This recipient has made strides in the New Works festival for the past two years as playwright and director, as well as serving as assistant director on many storytellers productions. She further proved herself exceptional by spending the year in a huge leadership role as the president of RLT’s honor society, storytellers squared.
