Karen Warr

Karen has studied dance all her life. She graduated from Randolph Macon Woman’s College where she majored in Biology and minored in Dance.  She earned a MSc in Coastal Ecology from UNC Wilmington and went on to work as a wetlands ecologist in NC and Florida. Karen has taught creative and modern dance to children for about 15 years and also teaches at Arts Together. She loves to share her passion for science and nature with her dance students.  Karen is a member of the Rainbow Dance Company and Black Box Dance Theatre. Karen is starting a small business and she is excited that through this new endeavor, Oak City Little Gardens, she can share the joy of gardening with others.
