Alease Timbers is thrilled to be joining Raleigh Little Theatre as the Education Program Specialist. She began her career as K-12 Theater Arts teacher for the Cumberland County School District. Alease comes from The Rose Theater in Omaha, NE where she worked as “The Director of School-Based Programming.” While at the Rose, her main focus was to create programming for the OPS school District, by including curriculum infusion and scheduling teaching artists. Alease has also served as Temple Theater’s Director of Education from 2020-2021. Alease has taught and directed for The Rose Theater in Omaha, NE, Cumberland County School District, Bristol Valley theater in Naples, NY, and Camp Lohikan, in Lake Como PA. Alease holds a BA in Theater and a Minor in Dance from Fayetteville State University (A Historically Black University).
