Scriptworks: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Students develop essential acting skills including characterization, vocal projection, blocking, working collaboratively and memorizing lines while working on age-relevant scenes from published plays. On the last day of camp, students perform their scenes for family and friends. Limited to 16 participants.
Musical Theatre Revue: Comedy Tonight!
June 17-21, 2019
A one-week, full-day musical theatre experience in which students develop musical theatre skills learning music, choreography and devising original scenes to tell a story with their songs. Camp culminates in a performance of their work for family and friends. Limited to 20 participants.
Playtime: Commotion in the Ocean
Age 4 – Rising Kindergarten
July 8 – 12, 2019
A half-day camp exploring ocean stories and characters through creative drama, art and movement. Through their drama exploration, students also practice listening skills, working together, story sequencing and build social skills. At the end of the camp, students share a favorite story from the week for family and friends. Limited to 12 participants.
Create-a-Play: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
Rising 1st-3rd graders
July 8 -12, 2019
Using source material from books and their own imaginations, students create, explore and perform an original play or plays created collaboratively with fellow campers. Daily classes in movement, creative drama, and basic acting skills. Students also create art projects that relating to the week’s theme to support their storytelling. Limited to 16 participants.
