In Scenes From American Life, eight performers portray 100 characters inhabiting the world of country clubs and cocktail parties, prep schools and dancing classes. Moments of amusement, nostalgia, and social commentary chronicle the demise of the upstate New York WASP, beginning with the 1930’s through World War II and the upheavals of the 1960’s, leading toward an Orwellian society of the future.
