Raleigh Little Theatre presents its 11th production of the 2008-2009 season: Bread and Puppet Theater's Sourdough Philosophy Circus and Pageant

May 22 & 23, 2009 at 7:30 PM
May 24, 2009 at 3:00 PM

Gates and concessions open at one hour before the start time.

Raleigh Little Theatre's Louise "Scottie" Stephenson Amphitheatre at 301 Pogue Street, Raleigh, NC  27607 (Next to Cameron Village)

Ticket Prices:

Adults and children over 12: $12
Children ages 2-12: $8
Children under 2: Free

Tickets are good for any performance.

In Brief:

The Sourdough Philosophy Circus and Pageant is about the need for human fermentation. Human fermentation concerns those parts of the human body that are not governed by the government, like the guts and the gutsy parts of the brain. This is also applies to zebras and city bred cows, dancing bears and independent donkeys. The show is run by a bunch of cooks, specialists in cooking the various stews and pancakes of our everyday first world existence. Additional commentary is provided by the Rotten Idea Theater Company. Music is by the Sourdough Philosophy Brass Band and a quartet of sheep.

Visit the concessions area or bring your own picnic for a fun family outing in the outdoor amphitheatre located adjacent to the Raleigh Rose Garden on the Raleigh Little Theatre Complex.
