A captivating musical of passion and romance. As mother and daughter from Winston-Salem travel through Italy during the summer of 1953, the daughter meets and falls for a handsome young Florentine. This unique play swept the 2005 Tony Awards, winning six awards, including Best Original Score, and earned five Drama Desk Awards and two Outer Critics Circle Awards.
