The Ins and Outs of a Cold Reading Audition SPACE AVAILABLE IN SESSION 1Ages: 8 - 12 Have you ever gone to an audition and not really known what to do or what was expected of you? Relax... In this workshop students will learn how to prepare for auditions (such as RLT's Cinderella in October and Wiley and the Hairy Man in January), the art of the cold reading, professional behavior and personal appearance for the audition. Wear comfortable clothes. No previous experience necessary. Limit 12 students. Cost: $35 per session Session I: Saturday, September 13, 3:15 - 5:15 pm Instructor: Barbette Hunter To enroll, please send in the registration form (PDF) Auditioning for Musical Theatre Workshop SESSION I FULLAges: 8 - 12 Learn what it takes to be successful at auditioning for musical theatre! RLT has an upcoming audition for Cinderella in October and this workshop is sure to help. Students will learn how to find the best 16 bars to use at auditions and how to sell their song as both singers and actors. Please bring sheet music if there is a specific song that you would like to work on. They will also learn how to choose appropriate monologues and become skilled at delivering them. No previous experience necessary. Limit 12 students. Cost: $55 per session Session I: Saturdays, September 20 and 27, 12:30 - 2:30 pm FULL Session II: Saturdays, January 17 and 24, 12:30 - 2:30 pm Instructors: J. Michael Beech and Mary Kathryn Walston To enroll, please send in the registration form (PDF) Auditioning For Musical Theatre And Mock Audition WorkshopAges: 13 - 18 Learn the ins and outs of auditioning for musical theatre!
