Classes for 19-year-olds

Most of our classes focus on the process of creating theatre through fun, imaginative, nurturing, creative play and ensemble building. Some of our classes for the seasoned student are geared more toward performance. Teens can focus on a broad selection of disciplines, such as scene study, musical theatre, improvisation, make-up artistry, dance or Shakespeare. Each session of classes culminates in an Open Classroom to give parents and friends a taste of the participants’ everyday experience in the program.

Access Theatre Now!

Ages: 7 and up

This class gives students with physical, emotional, learning and developmental disabilities an opportunity to gain self-esteem, improve social and communication skills and explore new modes of self-expression - all in a non-competitive, structured atmosphere. This session will culminate in an open classroom highlighting the individual talents of all involved. Support staff is welcome. No previous experience necessary. Limit 12 students.

Cost: $90 per session
7 instructional hours

Fridays, 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Session I: September 5 - October 17

Session II: October 24 - December 12 (no class November 28)

Session III: January 16 - February 27

Session IV: March 13 - May 8 (no class April 3 or 10)

Advanced Acting Studio CANCELLED

Ages: 16 - 19

Class focus: This is an intensive conservatory experience for the advanced actor. This class will focus on character objectives, tactics, physical expression and relationships through exploration of existing scripts, original material and improvisation. Two sessions of Performance Skills or instructor approval required. Limit 12 students.

Cost: $140 per semester
14 instructional hours

Saturdays, 12:30 - 2:30 pm

Spring Semester:
January 17 - May 9 (no class March 7, April 4 or 11)
