Theatre Arts Camp (full-day camp) FULLFor ages 6 –12 Have fun! Make friends! Exercise your imagination as you play and learn! Act out a story, sing a song, dance to the music, become a mime and create a masterpiece all in one week! Each day begins with a large group activity of theatre games. Then smaller groups will attend daily workshops in acting, singing, art and either dance or improvisation. Students will be placed into groups of 15 according to age. Just bring your lunch, a snack, your imagination and a willingness to give it a try! No previous experience necessary. Limit 60 students. Session 1: FULL Session 2: FULL Cost: $260 per session To enroll, please send in the registration form (PDF) Access Theatre Now!For ages 7–14 This class gives students with physical, emotional, learning and developmental disabilities an opportunity to gain self-esteem, improve social and communication skills and explore new modes of self-expression – all in a non-competitive, structured atmosphere. This session will culminate in an open classroom highlighting the individual talents of all involved. Support staff is welcome. No previous experience necessary. Limit 12 students. Fridays, June 20 – August 8 (no class July 4) To enroll, please send in the registration form (PDF) Creative Players (half-day camp) FULLFor ages 6–8 Let’s put on a play! Using scripted material, young actors will learn the skills needed to bring a story to life on stage. Family and friends are invited to attend a performance on the last day of camp. No previous experience necessary. Limit 18 students. June 23 –27 To enroll, please send in the registration form (PDF) Once Upon A Story (Apex) FULLFor ages 6–8 After learning the basic building blocks of a story, young aspiring writers will put their great pretending machines to work as they create their own storybook complete with illustrations! Students will explore movement, music, art and theatre games as sources for their story ideas. No previous experience necessary. Limit 15 students.
