Theatre Arts Camp (full-day camp) FULLFor ages 6 –12 Have fun! Make friends! Exercise your imagination as you play and learn! Act out a story, sing a song, dance to the music, become a mime and create a masterpiece all in one week! Each day begins with a large group activity of theatre games. Then smaller groups will attend daily workshops in acting, singing, art and either dance or improvisation. Students will be placed into groups of 15 according to age. Just bring your lunch, a snack, your imagination and a willingness to give it a try! No previous experience necessary. Limit 60 students. Session 1: FULL Session 2: FULL Cost: $260 per session To enroll, please send in the registration form (PDF) Access Theatre Now!For ages 7–14 This class gives students with physical, emotional, learning and developmental disabilities an opportunity to gain self-esteem, improve social and communication skills and explore new modes of self-expression – all in a non-competitive, structured atmosphere. This session will culminate in an open classroom highlighting the individual talents of all involved. Support staff is welcome. No previous experience necessary. Limit 12 students. Fridays, June 20 – August 8 (no class July 4) To enroll, please send in the registration form (PDF) RLT Players (Apex)For ages 9–13 Let’s put on a play! Actors will learn bold choice-making and teamwork and all the ins and outs of putting on a black box production of a fun script. Family and friends are invited to attend a performance on the last day of camp. No previous experience necessary. Limit 15 students. From The Page To The Stage (Apex)For ages 10–13 Students will explore movement, music, improvisation, theatre games and creative writing as they create a one of a kind script that they will bring to life on the stage. No previous experience necessary. Limit 18 students. Hip Hop Stories (full-day camp) FULLFor ages 8–12 Come learn the latest hip hop moves in the morning and then act out in the afternoon as we leave old, dusty stories on the shelf to create fresh and funky new ones! Students will learn basic dance techniques and acting skills in this totally hot summer camp. No previous experience necessary. Limit 18 students. July 28 – August 1 To enroll, please send in the registration form (PDF) Act Fast Improv! (half-day camp) FULLFor ages 9–12 Learning to think fast is a great life skill. Students will participate in fun improvisation games and exercises designed to promote group problem solving, build self-esteem and encourage spontaneity. It’s also a lot of fun! Limit 18 students. August 4–8 * Sign up for two camps and save! Students who attend both Act Fast Improv! and RLT Players will only pay a total tuition price of $255 for both camps.
