Saturday , 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
In this class, students will use improvisation to create original scenes and monologues supporting a theme(s) the class as a group selected. Theatre exercises, music, poetry, ads from the magazine, famous quotes and more may serve to stimulate the imagination.
Pathway to the Stage
The first step on the pathway to the stage is the audition. Once cast, there are many steps an actor must take to bring his/her character to life during the rehearsal process. In this scene study class, students will learn techniques such as character development, blocking, character relationships and vocal projection-all vital to taking that last big step to the stage!
